I am so blessed to be a mom to my two little dudes whom I get to get to homeschool.
I am obsessed with squishy babies, good books and all the tea (the kind you drink lol). Hikes are my jam and the beach or a honkey tonk place where I can two-step and line dancing is my location of choice.
If I could be any animal I would be an alpaca.
Why?
I don't actually know I just think they are so ugly that somehow they are cute.
I'm a single mom (for now) trying my best to be 1% better each day in everything I do.
I try to live in gratitude and surrender to the one who created it all.
WHY Salt & Light?
There is a bible verse that goes like this:
“You are the salt of the earth. But if the salt loses its saltiness, how can it be made salty again? It is no longer good for anything, except to be thrown out and trampled underfoot. You are the light of the world. A town built on a hill cannot be hidden. Neither do people light a lamp and put it under a bowl. Instead they put it on its stand, and it gives light to everyone in the house. In the same way, let your light shine before others, that they may see your good deeds and glorify your Father in heaven."

It's Awkward...
Standing in front of someone pointing a camera at your face, having to pose and just smile naturally, no biggie.
I TOTALLY get it and I really don't like it myself if we are being totally honest (despite what you see in the picture here because I had a good photographer taking my photos!)
A good photographer is like a friend you just get to enjoy their company while they photograph you. It's relaxed, natural, enjoyable and plain old easy.
My goal is for our time together to feel just like that. And if it's your wedding day, it's just a longer version!
I give you prompts, things to do with your hands and I make sure your hairs aren't sticking up and that hair tie you are going to need later is off your wrist.
I'm your HYPE girl!
I want you to feel AMAZING during our shoot.
If you don't walk away having laughed or enjoyed yourself I don't feel like I did a good job. (Even though our photos will be stunning, nonetheless).
Photography is not just a job to me.
We are creating memories that will be on the walls of your home for ages to come and for your babies, grand babies, and great grand babies to look at and laugh at your hair and outfit choices!
Jokes aside though,
that means something to me.
During our session you might see me laying on the floor to get a shot,
waving my hands in the air (like I just don't care) to get a baby's attention,
or making terrible dad jokes to make your kiddos laugh.
Don't be alarmed, I do weird things to get amazing shots!
Our photoshoot will be more of an experience than anything else. I will give you prompts to do, things to think about and secrets to whisper.
One thing I know for certain, we are gonna have a WONDERFULLY GRAND time. I GOT YOU!
